Communications Officer (Digital & Design)
We are recruiting a Communications Officer to accelerate and modernise our digital outreach and graphic design. The Officer reports to the Strategic Communications Manager, working in close collaboration to support our programmatic work through digital outreach and creative content.

Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in communications, media, graphic design, or a related field.
- Five years of experience in digital communications and content production.
- Experience using analytics tools such as Google, Meta and LinkedIn Analytics.
- Hands-on experience in graphic design, including publication layout and social media content.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
- Experience with website Content Management Systems, preferably WordPress.
- Proven ability to develop and implement digital campaigns and strategies.
- Proven ability to prioritise and take initiatives.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Legal right to work in Sweden.
Desirable qualifications
- Experience with video or podcast production.
- Knowledge of the Foundation’s thematic areas.
- Experience working in an international and/or values-based organisation.
- Good command of Swedish.
Terms of employment
- The position is a fixed-term replacement position for one-year, with the possibility for continued or permanent employment following the replacement period.
- The Communications Officer will be based at the Foundation’s office in Uppsala, Sweden, with opportunity to work remotely two days per week.
- The salary will be determined based on the individual’s experience and qualifications.
- The Foundation applies more generous annual leave terms than those stipulated in the Annual Leave Act. Employees up to the age of 29 are entitled to 28 days of annual leave; from age 30, 31 days; and from age 40, 35 days
- The Foundation offers a wellness allowance of 4500 SEK per year
- Pension in accordance with collective agreement (Salaried employees in civil society, Fremia)
