About Karin Sandell
Karin Sandell has more than 30 years of experience in journalism and communications. Before joining our team, she spent 14-years as Head of Communications at the National Centre for Knowledge on Men’s Violence Against Women at Uppsala University, Sweden.
Karin Sandell holds a BA with a Major in Journalism from Stockholm University and started her career as reporter, news editor and later as news director at Upsala Nya Tidning. Other roles include working as editor and press secretary at the Uppsala University Hospital and communications advisor for National Psychiatric Coordination enquiry at Sweden’s Ministry of Social Affairs. Karin brings many years of experience in capacity building and expertise in gender-based violence.
