Lara Sievers has worked for a humanitarian NGO in Erbil, Iraq, and conducted studies on inaccessible or hard-to-reach areas. She has also worked for a conflict transformation INGO in Morocco on various projects, including one on promoting women’s socio-economic empowerment and one on increasing civic participation among marginalised urban youth. Lara also worked at the European Commission in Brussels and the German Embassy in Prague. She holds an M.A. in International Peace and Security from King’s College London where she focused on both the Middle East and diplomacy.
