Programme area: Multilateralism

‘Once we are in a crisis it is not enough to repeat what has already been done’

On 24 April we observe the International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace. The Foundation marks this occasion by asking Mr Csaba Kőrösi, President of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), seven questions in an interview with Edit Morin-Kovacs, Programme Manager for Multilateralism.

Can we have greater diplomatic synergy through minilateralism? What are we learning from the Ukrainian crisis reverberating through the multilateral system and regional and minilateral groups? This month, Edit Morin-Kovacs, Programme Manager for the Foundation’s Multilateral project reflects on these pivotal questions. She previously worked in Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine.

‘We all have the opportunity to be a Human Rights Defender’

‘The significance of civil society in upholding human rights, democracy, and accountability in Ukraine,’ was a Nobel Lecture Roundtable hosted by the Foundation in collaboration with Uppsala University on 14 December 2022.
