About the event
The Dag Hammarskjöld Foundation, together with the UN Multi-Partner Trust Fund Office (MPTFO), the Permanent Mission of Sweden and the Permanent Mission of Zambia to the United Nations, invites you to a presentation of Financing the UN Development System: Keeping the Promise, the 12th edition of the annual report series.
This year’s report comes at a critical moment as the UN moves through a period of structural reform. It offers a timely, evidence-based look at how the development system is financed at a time when global needs are outpacing available resources, placing increasing pressure on the multilateral institutions working to address them. Meeting these needs will require not only additional financial resources, but also higher-quality funding directed towards global development and humanitarian priorities.
Member States, UN entities, donors and development partners will come together for the presentation to examine the report’s key findings and financing trends, engage with expert and practitioner perspectives, and explore pathways towards more predictable, flexible and effective development financing.
