Multilateralism
Our work in this area contributes to greater knowledge of the UN in the multilateral system and its role in advancing the protection and governance of Global Public Goods.
About
An effective UN that is able to adapt to global challenges while living up to the purposes and principles of its Charter is essential for effective multilateralism. This is underscored in the Secretary-General’s 2021 report “Our Common Agenda” and reinforces calls emanating from the consultations on the UN @75 declaration about the need to strengthen the governance of global public goods through reinforced multilateral action.
