Darshatha Gamage is a youth worker and volunteer who currently works for <a href="https://hashtaggeneration.org/">Hashtag Generation</a> as a social media analyst focused on hate speech and disinformation. He is also a co-founder of Impact Voices Sri Lanka, an organisation focused on collaborative work towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
Darshatha served as a United Nations volunteer in Sri Lanka for over two years, working on youth participation in peacebuilding and leading volunteer programmes. He holds a B.Sc. in Management and Information Technology, specializing in Business Systems Engineering, from the University of Kelaniya; and a B.Sc. in International Relations from the University of London’s International Programme.
