About Hans Wallmark
Hans Wallmark is a member of the Swedish parliament from 2006. Among other duties, he is currently the Chair of the Swedish Parliament’s European Union Affairs Committee and deputymember of the Committee for Foreign Affairs. A previous portfolio includes serving as President of the Nordic Council in 2014 and 2019.
Before becoming a member of the parliament Hans Wallmark worked as political editor at the Nordvästra Skånes Tidningar. He studied law, philosophy and literature at Uppsala University.
Hans Wallmark is since 2024 the Chairperson of the Foundation's Board of Trustees.
