About Peter Linnér
Peter Linnér has 23 years of work experience in international development, peacebuilding and humanitarian affairs with a strong emphasis on the humanitarian, development and peace nexus. He offers insights from multiple perspectives whilst understanding and pursuing the need for a holistic and integrated approach. In addition, he brings extensive experience in the areas of complex project management, analysis, knowledge management and leadership.
Peter spent nine years working in various positions in the United Nations system and have about 15 years combined in the Swedish International Development Corporation Agency (SIDA) and the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He has worked at headquarters and country level duty stations as well as a donor country official and Member State representative. Peter has worked in Tanzania, Cambodia, Denmark and Sweden with assignments on the African continent, the Middle East and Asia. He holds a master’s in International Relations from University of Amsterdam and another in Democracy Development from Uppsala University.
