Another Development and the New International Order: the Process of Change

The present issue represents a follow-up of the 1975 Dag Hammarskjöld Project, the broader framework within which the Report was produced. The Project, which will give rise to several further publications, is meant to serve as a basis for continuing discussion and frank debate at seminars and conferences. It is hoped that not least in developed countries the papers presented and the ideas they bring forward will give rise to discussion and reappraisal. The Dag Hammarskjöld Foundation has no ideology of its own – except to promote cooperation for peace and progress. More and more people are convinced that peace and progress require another development.
