Briefing about UN development system renewal

The interest in this topic was overwhelming and the Iran Room at FAO was filled to the last seat. The presentations focused on the need to reposition the UN development system so that it can better contribute to solving the major national and global challenges of our time. The presentations were followed by a substantial discussion about various aspects of UN reform between the panel participants and the audience. The speakers at the briefing were the Executive Director of the Foundation, Annika Söder; former ASG from UNDP, Bruce Jenks; and former FAO employee, Hans Page.
