About the event

The Dag Hammarskjöld Foundation, in partnership with the United Nations Multi-Partner Trust Fund Office (MPTFO) and co-hosted by the Permanent Mission of Sweden to the United Nations, invite you to the release of the 2024 Financing the United Nations Development System Report: Resourcing the Future in New York.

This event offers an in-depth analysis of global financing trends and their implications for the UN’s development efforts. With Member States negotiating the Quadrennial comprehensive policy review, which defines the UN’s operational framework for the next four years, and participating in the second preparatory commission for the 4th International Conference on Financing for Development the event provides timely insights to guide these discussions.

The event also celebrates the 20th anniversary of the UN Multi-Partner Trust Fund Office, recognising two decades of innovative financing solutions that support Member States’ development goals and multilateral cooperation.

A light lunch will be provided prior to the event.

Important: In case you do not hold a grounds pass to the UN Headquarters in New York, please note that the registration for this event closes on 26 November.
