Event Overview

Join us for ‘Financing the UNDS 2024: Resourcing the Future’, a key virtual event during the 2024 Multilateral Development Finance Week. Keynote speakers will present the latest available data from the 10th edition of the Financing the United Nations Development System Report and will focus on newest data on how the UN is funded, where the resources are allocated, and the growing role of earmarked contributions in driving the UN’s financial growth. The presentation will also explore trends in UN funding, including shifts in humanitarian and development assistance, and will discuss how multilateral financing can be enhanced to address global crises and support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The panel will include multilateral finance experts and will be followed by an interactive question and answer session to encourage open dialogue on optimising development finance for future global goals.
